What are HUD Foreclosures?
In some instances the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will places homes up for sale. These are the result of foreclosed homes that were purchased with a loan insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). The lender would have submitted a claim for the balance due on the mortgage. Upon paying it off, the FHA, who are a branch of HUD, now owns the property and they put it up for sale at fair market value minus any necessary repairs.
When you find a HUD home, simply let me know and I will submit a bid for you within the designated offer period. All offers are reviewed and the highest reasonable bid is accepted. Keep in mind that HUD homes are sold as-is and you, as the new owner will be responsible for any repairs.
